We are The Black Traders Collective — markets for us, by us.

We were birthed from the frustration of unreasonably high trading fees, broken promises around footfall, and events that weren’t properly advertised. Too many traders have been left feeling unsupported, undervalued, and extorted — and we knew there had to be a better way.

That’s why we’re building something different. With fair and transparent pitch fees, real collaboration, and intentional promotion, we focus on creating opportunities where traders can genuinely thrive. This is a community that has your back, values your products, and is committed to your growth.

Pierre's Rum Punch

Pierre's Rum Punch

Our Rum Punch comes from a family recipe created by our father, a recipe he brought with him from the isle of Grenada, the “Island of Spice”. With a mixture of spices and a blend of rums, we, as sisters, have developed Pierre’s Rum Punch to the tantalising drink you see here today. Pour yourself a glass over fruit and ice, and imagine yourself on a palm-fringed beach with the sea lapping at your feet and the sun shining on your face. Join in the party vide and let all your worries fade away!

Authentic Hampers

Authentic Hampers is a new, family-run business based in West Yorkshire, with roots in Jamaica and Barbados. We are one of the first companies dedicated to offering authentic Caribbean-themed hampers. Although we have only been operating since October 2025, we have already seen steady progress and are excited for the future.


We have gone to great lengths to include only the highest-quality products and, most importantly, to ensure authenticity across our entire range. Some of these products are incredibly difficult to source, and we pride ourselves on working closely with our suppliers to make them available here in the UK. We are also proud to collaborate with other independent businesses to offer exceptional products.


I joined BTC because I shared the same concerns and vision as my fellow committee members: not wanting to be heavily charged to secure a spot at market events, and wanting the ability to take ownership of the day to ensure we advertise our events to the best of our abilities.


What sets us apart from other markets is that each committee member also trades at our events. This means we have a vested interest in maximising footfall and ensuring the process is as smooth and supportive as possible for everyone who joins our community.

Tia Wynter Creations

I founded Tia Wynter Creations in September 2025 – as I found myself unable to go back into full time work and desperately in need of a creative outlet and a sense of purpose. I decided to throw myself into the deep end and put into motion an idea that I’ve had for as long as I can remember. My own Art based company, where I give myself the freedom to create as I see fit.

TWC specialises in giving discarded items new life from tattered & broken jewellery to discarded chandeliers – everything has the ability to be refreshed. The company is still young so I am learning as I go, but with my background in Hospitality Management, Events, and Promotional Marketing I have discovered over the months that I am far more ready for this than I gave myself credit for.

It is also because of this that when our group – now called Black Traders Collective - began planning ways to support each other and others that I was more than thankful for the task. As our logo suggests, we are all resilient, resourceful and determined to overcome the advisories modern day marketing places in our paths. And although we are each strong independents, we know that as a collective we have the ability to not only uplift ourselves but those around us as well.

GoGiftology

GoGiftology creates handmade, inclusive gifts and merchandise that celebrate diversity in every season. Since 2022, the brand has specialised in Black and Brown Santa-themed Christmas decorations including stockings, baubles, mugs, and more ensuring children see themselves reflected in the magic of the festive season.


All items are carefully designed and handmade, and the product range is expanding to include gifts for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and other occasions. GoGiftology also offers creative merchandise and graphic design services, including logos, key rings, flyers, booklets, and book design, providing bespoke solutions for individuals and businesses.

We recognised a missed opportunity: Black-owned businesses needed more spaces to support and uplift one another. From this insight, the Black Traders Collective was born—a dynamic network built to build community, encourage collaboration, and amplify visibility among Black entrepreneurs across the UK.


Every creation we craft is designed to bring joy, inspiration, and a deeply personal touch to life's celebrations, while simultaneously strengthening the economic power and cultural presence of Black entrepreneurs in the marketplace.
